 n Lisps' Linda.  Its tuplespace framework has been  very beneficial for us 
 to manage an enterprise application with many  dependencies.  To demonstrat
 e the principles behind Rinda and techniques for using the framework\, a fu
 n exercise will be provided that will allow participants to compete against
  one another.  Come ready to code!<br />

\nAJAX has improved the user ex
 perience of web applications by allowing  the user to proceed without being
  forced to wait for a web server to  complete the full HTTP request/respons
 e cycle. But how do we handle  potentially longer-running requests that may
  have external  dependencies? One proven option is to use a lightweight mes
 saging  framework centered around Rinda.  As more and more software  applic
 ations move away from a traditional standalone application and  move toward
 s integration with other applications\, large and complex  web applications
  will inevitably grow more external dependencies.  These dependencies can b
 e managed through rinda and its tuplespace
